Anybody who downloaded the program before August 19 at around noon PST we found a bug in our updating software so you may not be able to receive updates as we add the last few main feature. You can contact me directly and I will send you instructions or a patch that will do the update for you and fix that bug.

The site is working well, all of the information and user features are working thanks to Roy and Kong. The windows client is repaired and some cool new features like out Sync window have been added along with performance, security, and many other improvements thanks to Karl and Tony.
The download and backup function will be pushed out in an update in the near future. To receive updates simply turn off DropGallery and restart it. If there are any updates they will be downloaded upon restarting the program. To leave feedback please click the feedback button on the site of the screen on the site.

We have now worked out the last few kinks in the client and the site and are gearing up to start beta testing again ! Anyone interested in trying our new service early can contact me directly derek@dropgallery.com and request an access code. As we get ready for our beta release i thought I would take a few minutes to explain a little bit about DropGallery and how it works. DropGallery is a small program that you install on your computer or mobile device. The program creates a folder in your computer called DropGallery. Any images you drag and drop into this folder Sync to your DropGallery online. This folder is the same as any other folder in your computer. You can add sub folders, rename folders and images, right click on something and send it to your DropGallery folder. Once something is in this folder it syncs the contents of the folder to our secure cloud storage center. You can use DropGallery to share photos with friends, family, or co workers easily. If you want to upload 1, 10 or 1000 images you can do it. Just drag and drop the images into your DropGallery folder. This may take some time as DropGallery is limited by the upload speed of your internet connection, but DropGallery will just quietly do its work in the background. As soon as an image is synced it is available to share with anyone in the world with an internet connection.
Our Windows application is nearly ready, the Mac Client will be available shortly after that, the IPhone, Android, and Windows mobile 7. If you are interested in checking out the Beta release please sign up on the DropGallery’s home page and we will give you a shout when its available.

We are currently working out a bunch of the bugs in both the site, and the application and now have a stable pre Beta release up for testing purposes.

DropGallery is nearly ready for testing. Our super smart IT department moved everything onto a new server last night so we have a few bugs to work out before we get our testers in to try it out.
